Gail Brashers-Krug is an attorney with Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman where she is engaged primarily in white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she was of counsel at a Des Moines law firm where she handled a variety of civil and criminal matters in state and federal court in Iowa, New York, Kansas, and elsewhere.

Prior to moving to Iowa, Gail practiced law for ten years on the east coast, most notably as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and later with Murphy, Falcon & Murphy. She has represented Fortune 100 companies in nationwide, multi-billion-dollar class action lawsuits, as well as several players and coaches in personal litigation within an NFL team.

Gail is a Harvard Law School graduate and was Executive Editor of the Harvard Law Review. After graduation, she clerked for Judge Michael Boudin on the First Circuit and joined the U.S. Department of Justice through the Honors Program, before moving into private practice.

Legal Teaching Position:

Gail was an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa College of Law where she taught a variety of litigation writing and practice skills, 2008-2013.
